Basilica of Saint Lucia
The construction of this temple dedicated to Santa Luzia and the Sacred Heart of Jesus began in 1904, extending until 1959. It was designed by the architect Miguel Ventura Terra, who was succeeded by the architect Miguel Nogueira, after the death of his master in 1919.
